I am passionate about educating women and teaching them HOW to live a healthy and active life without resorting to fad diets and extreme methods. I do this by leading an example and living a balanced, healthy life each day.

After working as a personal trainer for 7 years and falling pregnant for the first time with baby Chase, I knew I wanted to help more women feel comfortable in their own skin.

Competing in World Titles WFF Bikini Model Champion

In 2014, I competed in nine Bodybuilding Fitness Competitions, winning three SA bikini model championships and two 2nd places in Australia titles in the ICN and WFF federations. Finally, I finished up 2nd in the World Titles WFF Bikini Model Champion. It was both an empowering and also a very eye-opening experience.

I followed a very strict comp-prep diet consisting of chicken and broccoli and stayed on this strict regime for 42 weeks! My training was also very strenuous – I had 14 cardio sessions per week factored into my training routine on top of 5-6 weight training sessions per week. They were extreme methods to reach a very lean physique required for stage.

Becoming an Online Fitness Coach

Post-comp I was determined to find another way to achieve these results – there had to be another way. This is why I studied nutrition and became qualified to be able to educate others – and that is how PowerFit by Grace was born! Now as an online fitness coach, I am able to expand my coaching services by reaching women from all over Australia.

Post-Partum Transformation

I lost ~25kg after my first child and ~17kg after my second baby. In both post-partum journeys my progress was slow and steady and I did not rush back into exercise – I started at the gym 8 weeks after my first baby and 16 weeks after my second. My weight loss was the result of a well-rounded diet with appropriate portions.  As a mum, I know just how important it is to be able to schedule workouts in and around children, and to have budget and family-friendly meal choices. I personally exercise at the gym 3-4 times per week and also get outside for walks with the kids when I can a few times a week.

I feel privileged to be able to show my journey post-partum with other women through social media and to show women that it IS possible! It is possible to live a balanced life without restriction or any extreme methods and also stay fit and healthy.

Healthy looks and feels different on everybody so I encourage all of my clients to focus on their own achievements.

I am extremely passionate about flexible dieting principles. I eat a variety of macronutrients and micronutrients and also allowing for “fun foods”- food that is good for the soul! Any diet that excludes food groups or meals that you love is not sustainable and therefore neither will the results be.

No 8-week crash diets here, only long-term lifestyle changes that can be implemented and continued on – for life!
